What was done
DoorDash adopted Replicant to automate high-volume phone workflows that were difficult to staff through offshore call centers or seasonal hiring. The first deployment placed outbound food-order calls to restaurants, communicating order details clearly even through kitchen noise, accents, voicemail trees, or busy signals. DoorDash later expanded the partnership to automate tax-form verification calls for Dashers, scaling to more than 2,000 concurrent calls during the campaign. Replicant reports the food-ordering use case reached 350,000-plus automated calls per day, an 87% resolution rate, and launch in six weeks; the tax campaign handled nearly 800,000 calls in eight days and saved more than 2.5 million agent minutes.
