AGCO employee-built manufacturing agents

What was done

AGCO created a governed maker program with Microsoft Copilot Studio so employees could turn real workflow friction into supported AI agents instead of unmanaged shadow tools. More than 900 employees initially volunteered to build agents, and AGCO later grew the maker community to roughly 2,000 people. The agent portfolio includes quality-process support, supplier contract analysis, and agronomy guidance for sales teams. Microsoft reports AGCO has several hundred enterprise agents in production and has reduced some quality review work from weeks to about an hour.
