What was done

Box Agent, part of Box AI, uses a parent-child Deep Agents architecture to search across enterprise content, synthesize findings from multiple documents, and generate reports while respecting Box permissions. The global parent agent can answer simple requests directly or spawn child agents for parallel search, rubric retrieval, spreadsheet Q&A, and synthesis. Middleware handles citations, prompt caching, context management, and communication between agents.
