AngelList Devin BI migration agents

What was done

AngelList used Devin during a Redshift-to-Snowflake migration after its data layer moved more than 2,000 dbt models and the remaining BI layer still contained 14,000 Metabase cards across 40+ collections. Devin helped scope the migration, proposed composable tools, and ran agents in parallel to clone cards, retarget SQL, fix dialect differences, and validate results against Redshift. Devin reports the cutover completed on March 23, 2026, 5.2x faster than the team estimated without Devin, avoiding a schedule that was trending six months late.
